Ocean and Costal Management
MARINNOVA provides advanced monitoring techniques and methodologies for biodiversity studies and efficient data acquisition and modelling (morphodynamics, hydrodynamic and tidal) for the study of ocean and coastal processes. Data allows to investigate the impact of natural and manmade activities (e.g. harbour structures, coastal protection structures, dredging activities, artificial sand nourishment on beaches and dunes) and assessment of risk in support of integrated coastal zone management and decision making.
